Trading by the Moon

It's good to look at things from a Celestial perspective in trading...too many people trade using micro signals and variables.
Just like the Patek Philippe Celestial 5102J watch ooo_O

Wow that's awesome. I forgot to mention earlier that if you pay attention you can see traders getting crazy around the full moon right here at ET. It's the guys who deny it the most that are usually the ones all flippy and stuff.

I don't want to brag or gloat or anything...but I'm good at predicting how the S&P 500, SPY,...will move during the day.
Killing it with Options in that.
(that's all i want to say about that, i don't want to reveal too much exactly about my process and methodology.)

I assume it's in the vein of this thread in some way. If true, I'm all for it. I asked Jimmy Sloman years ago what he based the trading system he sold to Welles Wilder on. He said he had been looking for entries that didn't use traditional T/A. So he used astrology.

He thought that T/A was too subjective--you could take the same indicator and plug different numbers in for different results. It actually makes a lot of sense and is one reason I try to stay away from T/A as much as possible.

Not to mention that it would also spark a riot here at ET

Thanks a lot! Now the edge inherent in trading by the Moon will be diluted to the point it's no longer a valid method. Now I have to go back to my old method which requires a lot more effort.

it's not an edge, everybody does it whether they know it or not
but I will agree with you, all the big money is made front running the moon
and after a while it breaks down and all the big players are selling on the new moon just when all the little traders are buying hoping for a turn

we'll see Monday, a positive close after the new moon should be bullish at least until Christmas
