Trading bonds with Optionsxpress

Anyone has experience trading bonds with Optionsxpress?
Is bond marginable in Optionxpress like Interactive Brokers?
Are certain bonds excluded from trading due to low credit rating?

Get out of options express ASAP.

Sign up with som1 else. Fees are through the roof. I don't know how you could even trade.

I have never traded bonds. How wide are the spreads and what do you pay per bond? When you say trade, what is a typical holding time?

I have an IB account, but I am an Australian client with corporate account. For whatever weird reason, I cannot trade bond using IB and I cannot even request the trading permission. Most major brokerages don't serve Australian clients these days, with OptionsXpress being an exception.

I think the spread varies depending on dealers. Holding till maturity.
