Trading Bear Market ETF's now ?

With a new Bear market in the US Indexes arguably under way, has anyone successfully traded/invested in Bear Market ETF's during a Bear Market?

Recommendations, etc?
 
I owned SRS in 08 from about 60$ to 200$ (it went trough to 300).

I bought again at 90$ and 60$, sold at 20$.

It went to 7$.

:D

Still made a profit though!:p

ok what are your (and the audiences) thoughts on using the 50/200 EMA cross to identify Bull/Bear markets then buying the Bear ETF's in response.
