Hi,

For those of you who can send orders on baskets of stocks how fast can you platform execute those orders?

Say you have 200 stocks (200 orders) to execute. How long would it take your platform to execute all the orders?

I'm specifically interested in how quick/slow LASER is in this respect.

And how large can a basket be?

IB's platform will do it in 5-10 seconds (market orders). Usually, there'll be a handfull that can take up to 20 sec but that's because they get held up at the specialist/exchange level.

just making sure i undersatnd... It could place 200 orders in 5 - 10 secs?
