Trading -AUD/USD

I'd bet it rolls over instead.... and breaks out to the upside later when you're not looking/expecting it...

+50 pips profit and still counting, closing half my position and moving the stop to break-even. Thank you New Zealand! :)

What were you saying, Blah12345678 ? :D

Mad market anyway, one of my providers has 15 pip bid offer spread!

The trick is to buy/sell BEFORE the news, not during the announcement, otherwise the spread could crush you.

Quote from Visaria:

Ok, went long NZDUSD 0.8367

I will be buying more New Zealand dollars at 0.8380.

Target is 0.8430, 115 pips above my initial entry point.

Come on boy, get up there!

Good job! It's always nice when a trade works out and puts $$$ in your account!

Thanks Blah12345678.

Now I am waiting for yet another currency-moving report, the Australian trade balance report (due in less than 30 minutes), and since the New-Zealand dollar is the Australian dollar's little cousin, this could speed up things

What are you trading right now Blah12345678, still shorting the hell out of the Eur/Usd ?

yep, added 2 more at 1.3500 yesterday - now short 6 total at an average price of 1.3680...

Waiting for the resolution of the ECB meeting (tomorrow ?) and the US unemployment numbers on Friday. I'm guessing the move down is only 1/2 way done. But I could be wrong, as always.

6 ?

You mean you sold (short) 600,000 euros (6 standard lots) to buy the equivalent in US dollars ?
