Ever noticed how some successful business men or higher executives have fat or plain wives. Yep, you got it; those weak 'mothers' got to where they are by accident or they suspended their normal decision making skills on wife selection because they are weak in the 'women dept' and all departments other than business.

no offense meant---

some men want a woman they can control, and dont want to be challenged, hence the fat/plain wife

others want a challenge, either from other men trying to score, or from the babe herself--or both.

it really has nothing to do with social status or lack thereof.

Well I was not making a reference to social status per se. It is just the usual way in which people show who they are. So show me his woman; you've have shown me the man.

But, yes, sure, I acknowledge your first 2 points.

Naturally small is better than big fake, but naturally big is the best! Actually, I mean not too big, just in the standard.

You are looking at the wives, but what about their husbands that you refer to? What do they look like? I think all of us value physical attractiveness in varying degrees. However, in the general course, when people step well outside their "league" physically, they are more likely to run into trouble in the longer term.

In the normal course, I believe that people of a similar physical attractiveness are drawn together. Of course, there are exceptions. However, the rich and successful toad who sets his sights on a runway model is probably consigning himself to a lifetime of heavy lifting. She may be drawn to him because of his power, money and success for a time, but unless he has some overriding personal attribute, such as an outstanding personality, then he may find himself without his arm candy in the longer term. I don't doubt that very ordinary looking men can attract beautiful women and have happy, life-long marriages. However, it's just not a safe bet. It is probably not where the smart money is.

So, before you judge these men you refer to, be sure to consider what their objective is. If they were plain looking men seeking trophies and conquest but ended up with the women you described, then maybe they fell short by your standards. However, if their goal was to have a true companion and life partner, then maybe they knew what they were doing. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. What may appear to be a bad trade to you may indeed be an excellent long term investment.
