Sometimes we can observe gap-ups and gap-downs within intraday chart of stocks, which is mostly because of investors buying/selling. We can't see such gaps in intraday chart of index. That's why day trading on index is more safe.

Sometimes we can observe gap-ups and gap-downs within intraday chart of stocks, which is mostly because of investors buying/selling. We can't see such gaps in intraday chart of index. That's why day trading on index is more safe.
I can read well intraday chart of any reliable index and make good trading decisions. That's what every day trader need to perfect through practice.
My suggestion is to choose a more predictable/reliable index for day trading.
From the eagle's eye view, risk management is business mindset. To narrow down into stock trading, intraday trading on index is a great choice clubbed with taking stoploss hits more seriously, because that's what I call the ultimate risk management for any stock trader.
As a disciplined trader I know exactly what I need to know and I dont know anything other than that. If we know what we are doing then we also know how to avoid what we are not involved. That is a professional discipline.

Hmm I've got totally diffrent point of view, but it is like with drivers, one is chosing car with big fuel consiuption onther is chosing definitly more economic one.
That's okay as far as the driver drives safely.
