P PohPoh Sep 24, 2006 #1 I've traded the EMINY but not ACCESS.. Can anyone describe the difference, pros/cons?? Thanks..
P PohPoh Sep 24, 2006 #2 As far as I know, there are 4 platforms for E-trading: Globex, ECBOT, ACCESS, EmiNY.. Is this true?
S Surdo Sep 24, 2006 #3 Not every contract trades on mutiple platforms. You have a choice of the front end used to access the exchange, not what exchange to trade on in most cases. What are you looking to trade?

S Surdo Sep 24, 2006 #5 https://clearport.nymex.com/access/login.asp ACCESS is on GLOBEX/CME now. So all electronic NYMEX Crude is traded this way, as far as I know.

T Todd Seven Sep 27, 2006 #8 Access was supposed to be going away due to the CME deal. I am pretty sure it did around mid June.
