Tradier's OptionsBrew Coming Soon!

I just emailed service@tradierbrokerage.com about opening an account and got a reply within minutes saying that they cannot help as they are not taking clients from the UK.

Let me know if you get a different response.
(PS. Their website says
"Tradier Brokerage opens some foreign brokerage accounts on a case-by-case basis. Please email service@tradierbrokerage.com to see if you are eligible.")

Good to know - was waiting for an answer to my other question on that other thread before I contact them...no need now

Thanks for that Chris,

My understanding from looking at your site is that one has to spend $85 monthly to use a platform (hawk) before trades are commission free. Is that correct?

I have since learned about Firstrade and wonder what the difference between the 2 of you is?

My understanding is that you are both SIPC insured and both sell your order flow to APEX, or am I missing something? I am sure it is not as straightforward as saving $1,020 per year by choosing one over the other, and wanted just some clarification from your end.

Many thanks

Dear Chris, Kevin , Lex or anyone else at Tradier,

I am still hoping that you answer the question I've raised yesterday (or at least give it a shot). Sponsoring this forum does not make up for the $1000 a year ask i am afraid.

I (and many other here i am guessing) will shift business your way if you match Firstrade: platform for free and all options for free. You should be making more than enough selling the order flow onward (like them). I have recently learned that even Schwab is offering $0 options for accounts above a certain size...and they have acquired ToS as you know....

Thanks

Hi guys, just to be 100% clear...If I sign up for TradeHawk,I pay ZERO commision,Zero clearing fees..Just the monthly subscription cost...So the 100,000 contracts I traded with TOS over the last 3 months that cost me 50k,would have cost me $240 if I traded thru you??

Nah, you need to pay exchange and reg fees.

Thats what I thought...So their claim is a bit misleading??

"No ticket charges, no $.65 per contract, just the single subscription fee!"

no it's fair - they assume that you read the small print like everyone else.

On the other hand, why pay them $1,020 per year wen Firstrade is free across the board?

Hell, I am now learning that Schwab gives you free option trading as well if your account is of a decent size.

Is it true that exchange/reg fees is apx .09 ??

So all in with Tradier/Tradehawk,it's 0 commission and .09 in exchange/reg fees??

"Subscription excludes other fees such as options exercise and assignments. Tradier Brokerage passes along all exchange and regulatory fees (approximately .09 per contract)."
