TS2000i is old, UNSUPPORTED technology....USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I've tried it real-time, and it frequently "blows up" in Windows "protection exceptions" especially when running tick-based charts.In TS2000i all the data is stored on your PC; so you don't depend on the bandwidth of the internet. Much better , because you have more speed, you can keep unlimited amounts of data, and you can download all you miss for the last 180 days.
I prefer that kind of database. That's the main reason why i don't upgrade to TS8.0.
Cruz and company are slimy snakes IMHO...I'd stay away from them...TS2000i , TS7, TS8, TS8.1, WHATEVER.
