TradeStation vs Amibroker vs Metastock

I am a noob so please be patient with me.

I want to develop an automated trading system. I have an account with IB. My background is software engineering so ease of use, or language learning curve is not a factor for me.

How do you compare TS, Amibroker, and Metastock. I am interested in developing strategies involving multiple stocks and options. Backtesting is of main concern to me. I would like to be able to integrate analysis in multiple timeframes affecting buy/sell signals.

What are some pros and cons of each system. I found some threads on the topic on the net but alot of it was dated and I am sure these platforms are moving targets.

You have to write your own program...
There are no off the shelf program that can do what you want. Most of the programs can do 2 to 3 combination from the above list, but seldom more...
