Tradestation offers market indices ??

Hi,

I'm interested in opening a tradestation 6 brokerage acct. I got the paperwork but it seems no-one can answer my question so I ask the current users. (I keep getting different answers from tradestation support)

Can I view real-time quotes and charts for all major sector indices in the US using a tradestation equities acct. ??

I want to see for example SOX (semiconductor), BKX (banks), UTY (utilities) etc. I think you understand what I mean. I found most of these indexes run on PHLX exchange. (Take a look at www.phlx.com and then click indexes)

Yes, you can view realtime quotes and charts of indices. The symbols are a little different than other feeds though. For example . . . $SOX.X,$BKX.X,etc.

Just to make sure : I receive the quotes realtime with an equity acct and I have also the abbility to chart them (acces to intraday data for charting) ??

Yes. You can also receive quotes for CME E-Minis (realtime) if you pay 10 $ exchange fee.
