What is anyone's experience trading index futures with tradestation? Are the slippages and spreads reasonable?

TS has the best spreads in the business...

Tradestation give u terrible fills. Especially during high volatility. I had IB and TS running at the same time. IB always faster. One of the reasons I moved away from TS.

Ok. I'll see how well TS works. If the fills aren't good, there are always other brokers.

I'm very happy trading ES and YM with tradestation. The only times I've had bad fills are during a high velocity move after an announcement, or right at the instant of the open. Even then it's only a tick or two.
