Tradestation charting IB Ideal FX data

Ive been trying to hook my copy of tradestation up to my IB account

I seem to be able to get Oil and YM in ok.. But cant get USD.JPY from Ideal.. or 6BM7 (GBP futures shows up as flat line)

Anyone else have problems with charting Currencies with IB or is it a problem just for me?

I know its possible, because I managed to get it going a year ago. unfortunately I cannot remember how I did it except that you have to experiment and think out of the box.

I do know for sure that you need to use IDEAL PRO and not the regular IDEAL. Also, base your quotes on the bid or ask side instead of mid-price etc.
I asume you use some sort of collector/converter for the data. If not, try using MSRT by www.tradersoft.com (free copy available for 2/3 symbols).
 
thanks .. Ive tried a lot of different ways to get the data in but no luck yet..

I using owndata 2.4.. DDE data is going in fine.. and so are all other IB tickers

Is just Ideal which cant go in..

I dont see an option for adding Ideal Pro as the exchange/data source in owndata or TS

hmmm.
