As for me, I like that oldtime fiddle music, and have made or lost more money working out a tune when the market is going wild.
I can't guarantee you that I will ever listen to anything you recommend, but I like to stay current.
I missed a whole generation because my kids listened to the same thing I did, from my own collection. How do you think it is to come home and your 12 year old kids are listening to "Anthem of the Sun" by grateful dead? Doesn't help you much
But then when my dad came home I was listening to his 78rpm Duke Ellington discs.

I like all kind of music.
To what i listen depends on my mood.
I prefer: Jazz, Classic, Some Rap and Hip Hop, Death Metal, Viking Metal, Reagee (old school), Soca, Samba, Goa Psytrance, Some rock classics like Eye of the tiger and so on.
I also like Bobby McFerrin very much.
Rap i prefer ONYX. Hip Hop i prefer Kurtis Blow and Sugar Hill Gang. Onyx, fav songs = shifftee, Judgement night, Slam Harder.
I dont listen anymore to punkrock. Did it in my youth.
I only like now the hard stuff, Death Metal and Viking Metal.
Death Metal i prefer the Band Death, my fav songs are "A moment of clarity" and "Empty words".
Also the song the gambler is very good.
Reagee i only like the old stuff, like jimmy cliff.
I prefer at all the old stuff more, from the 80s, thats really good music. The bullshit what comes out today, makes me sick.
Especially hip hop and rap and ragga and dancehall, i dont like the new stuff. They are just fucking dump posers and do not understand any kind of how to make very good piece of art of music.
P.S. if you feel depressed, listen to Soca music, that gives you fresh energy back.
In classic i like fast things, dont know much about classic, just know it must be played fast, i always can dream then about a field of high grass in the himalaya, where a very strong wind blows, dont know where i got this image from, but i like it.
