This thread is starting to give me some newfound insights as to why such a small percentage of traders are truly successful, and not just in pure monetary terms. Trading is too hard an occupation for most people to succeed in without some "outside help." Sure, I've personnaly known several true Satan worshipers at the Merc and the Board who were millionaires - but I would not call them all that personally successful or rich, in the broadest terms.
To operate a trading system with real peace of mind (absence of fear and doubt) and unwavering discipline often takes something deeper and more empowering than mere human psychology - as many readers of this forum will probably have to honestly admit. It's one thing to amass a pile of money by one's effort and guts, but it is quite another to really enjoy the fruits of your labor and to be able help and bless others in the process and reap the greatest rewards - and those without ulcers and other stress-related aliments, as well as divorces and legal hassles or without having to use drugs and stimulants to get through the day.
The bottom line: I believe God's way is the best way, whatever your human occupation is - commodity traders included.

I believe you are absolutely full of shit. I trade with full confidence that my system will generate money consistently and avoid big losses by rigourous statistical modelling and evaluation. That lets me sleep at night, and the fact that I never hold over night. There is no luck, hope, prayer, voodoo, moon phases, ghosts, etc that affects my trading or my life.

i dont mind if a person wants to believe in his god of choice as long as he keeps it to himself as he was instructed to do in the bible:

I never can figure out in which God I'm s'posed to believe, there are so many excellent choices out there. I just know that as soon as I pick one of the Gods then the other Gods will feel slighted and will get all pissy about it and comdemn me to Hell, though which Hell I don't know, since it depends on which God is doing the condemning.
If all these Gods could somehow consolidate into One Single Entity, kinda like a God Conglomerate, it would make it a heck of a lot easier. That way we wouldn't have to worry if we were raised Christian or Jewish or Muslim or whatever. We also wouldn't need to be concerned that we may not even be aware of certain Gods in other cultures and end up in Hell for not believing in some God we never knew existed in the first place.
