In my specific case, there was no such links.
G.
Links or no links...that's not the issue nor was I trying to explain what happen to you in particular.
The issue is do you value your content ? If you do, it needs to be backup (saved elsewhere off site instead of using a forum for storage) just in case there's a problem with the forum you've been posting your content at.
Heck, you can even download all conversations from any forum threads you've participated in if you know how to do it just in case the thread gets deleted...very useful if you want to re-post all of it at a later date somewhere else.
I think too many traders forget that trader forums is just like anything else online...
save your work if its of any value so that it becomes
very easy to re-post the content elsewhere whenever you choose to do so. Blogs are free although not an adequate source for file storage. Best to get something outside of your blog and then link to it to your blog to go along with the storage on your computer. Crap happens, tomorrow your computer can crash and I'm sure as a trader you must have a backup of your computer...
right ? That's my point.
On a side note from the above topic...you mentioned your thread or posts were moved to "recycle bin" (trashed) when you were banned. If you have other posts not trashed...that in itself would imply the trashing of your content was very specific to the content that was trashed considering your other content was left untouched...something for you to think about considering you've stated you don't understand why you were banned.
I've seen the above happen a lot at forums but its hard for anyone on the outside to review considering the content and the message posts involved with the content that was deleted is no longer accessible in comparison to the content that was untouched and still viewable by the public.
Hopefully, you can see this as an opportunity to learn something about forums. Protect your own content including conversation history (replies, files by other members) just in case something goes wrong at the forum.
