Traders that only ''Short'' the markets

I was wondering who makes more year after year

Traders that only go Short!
or
Traders that only go long!
or
Traders that go short and long!

Seems like the last few years Shorts have been making
a killing and this looks to continue into 2012.

DOW 8,000 here we come! :D

yeah, some traders short all their trades. It does not mean that they do better than the average buy-and-holder You can make a fortune if you know when to short LEH. If you don't know what you're doing, beware of the rebound, just look at DDS.
