Traders that lie about their income

I don't think anyone on Elite Trader is lying about their income since no one is trying to sell you anything here.

They may not lie per se but if you ever ask to see their P/L statement or yearly trade blotter,well you might as well ask NORAD to let you see the nuclear launch codes while you're at it. You'll have the same amount of luck.

I knew many more traders that would understate their income that would overstate it.

On the trading floor they guys who would continue to say they weren't making much, were the successful traders, and the ones who bragged about making money, generally didn't.

I see quite a few traders that outright lie about their income. Doctors, engineers, and mechanics dont lie, why do many traders lie?

I've worked for forty years (with three different CPAs), to be asset rich and income poor.

I am not the only one...Tens of millions do the same thing.

Gold and silver coins, huge Roth IRAs, cars and trucks, asset generation skipping, matching my long term losses with gains, rentals in good locations with good tenants, grow my own fruit and nuts, father-in-law having cows for meat-milk-cheese, farming where I have high income...I plow it back into the farm (sprays, fertilizer, small and large tools, property tax payments in different years)!!

It's not what you make...It's what you keep.
