Do you think there is a trader out there, somewhere in the world that has figured out a way to "beat the system" meaning no losses. And has done this over a large period of time. I know most people are thinking that is an impossible task. But the world is a HUGE place. SO were talking a small needle in a giant haystack. But im sure someone out there has figured it out. ALSO I want to make clear that I don't believe traders should look for a system with 100% success rate, that's not a good idea. Im sure you have a much better chance of hitting the mega power ball lottery. But I believe there is a good chance someone out there has cracked the code. Your thoughts?

Sure. They just won't tell you about it and you will never know. End of the story.

Since we’re not talking about zero losses but “beating the system” then maybe @destriero would qualify since he had like 10x higher profit than drawdowns. Too bad the guy appears to be dead now (suicide?).
While even Renaissance’s Medallion had large drawdowns, implied by the recent book.

As far as I know he just changed his nickname again. Couldn't say to what however. He used to have another one too ...

No Risk... No Reward!... It`s Not about No losses... No such thing! There is always an acceptable risk/ acceptable loss in every single business endeavor, no mater what it is!
The key is how one mitigates ones risk & maximizes their strengths/ winners!

If you`re seeking the magic key/ formula to the market that doesn`t allow a loss... let me save you the suspense, it does not exist... embrace the risk & mitigate your losses!

Has someone figured out how to basically not lose? Yes, absolutely. Particularly traders who have been successful for a long time. For example they could go long NQ and knowing even if it went to 0(if it did they'd have bigger problems anyways) that they still would be fine, due to all the gains they had in the previous years / decades.

So they basically can just go long and defend there long until it's profitable. Now add in good technical read and ability(and proper understanding) of when to average into the long and it's very very difficult for someone like that to have a losing month or even day.

As far as 100% win rate. No need to discuss that, because it's impossible to have a 100% win rate and make any type of consistent returns relative to your account size. All it would take is just once to get caught in a long or a short and there goes your 100% win rate unless you wait years for the position to come back and get out.... just to say your win rate is 100%.
