Great to see all of you in-person. Sorry I was under-the-weather...but at least I had a chance to tell my stories of how much money I left on the table and how I avoided a tremendous disaster.

Dimitri - sorry we are in different worlds: Linux vs. Windows. However, it's good to see another IT comrad doing the trading game. As soon as I get my corporate IB account established, I'll contact you about my war stories with their horrid tech support.

Barry - Your IC story was typical. Many hedge funds that are short premium show these really nice equity curves that are marred by violent spikes down. It's the nature of that game.
Glad you were aware your bet size was way too large.

My plans are to stick with TOS for longer-term options plays (4-8 weeks), go with IB for autotrading of Euro FX futures, and some discretionary 1-2 days plays of equities / etfs / options thru IB or TOS.
In the meantime, good ole JP Morgan is paying the bills and building up my trading equity.

Thank you, Mark. It was great to see you again.

And it was great to meet you, Dmitry and Steve. Enjoyed the evening very much. I plan to use a number of the ideas we discussed. It helps to have the sounding board of fellow traders to bounce things off. And many thanks, Dmitry, for the beers.
