Traders in ones own state?

I would really like to be able to make contact with other daytraders in my state (especially in my own city). Would the following post be acceptable? Are there any daytraders in OK, if so, e-mail me please? If such a post isn't acceptable, just delete it please.
 
Gene I've seen you registered for DaytradersUSA. There are 7 other members in your area. Have you contacted them by email yet?

I'm one of the speakers. Some of the trading info is mickey mouse but other parts are decent. There are some very high calibur traders in the group
