Traders having ADD?

If some one walked in to your office and told you that they clearly have mommy problems
they want to beat up mothers
they cant hold a job
when they do have one they tend to be way underpaid
and they convince themselves some how they made enough money to live for the rest of their life on the said underpaid salary
they are generally not liked.
they tend to talk about conspiracies
they have temper issues
they feel that they are entitled to make decisions for other parents
they are in denial.
they twist religion just enough to justify immoralities
In general, when looking over a statement one cant find a single positive thought.

In this case would you make an exception and medicate ?

If they weren't blessed with a degree/unlimited wealth. where would they be right now ?


Oh 2006 my bad, i was lazy....... Well just in case some one gets mislead. I used to hate bums asking me for money, why were they so lazy, Why don't they get a job? I used to walk by.. life led me places. Now instead of proclaiming mentioned statements to my friends to justify my actions, I ASK the said questions. Why ? Why stand out side in -30 degree weather for 8 hours a day ?
I make sure they have enough to get some food Hunger should not be something one has to feel on a regular bases.

Its Kevin Trudeau and some guy who is not allowed to medicate people in the US and probably got fired VS a real Doctor.

Eat healthy and exercise. Your decision effect your child. make sure he or she can function in school and analyse how they will be as adults and understand that people change as they grow. and understand the science behind ADHD. You Grab your child and shove your words down his mouth and see success but step back and you will see and you will see a failure.

Especially at a young age, the effect of ADHD is enormous look at the grades, but that is just a bit of story. To act of not to act, one is not OK cause it is doing nothing.

DR, Science, vs the above and Kevin Trudeau and Kevin Trudeau believers...... No wonder he has unlimited money he must of read the sequale to Kevins ADHD book about making free money

This ADD thing is real and has effected me and was probably one of the reasons I made so many impulsive horrible decisions before.

i have add and have always had discipline problems also lost the hyper in adulthodd,one trick is to watch 5-10 markets at a time, easier for a mind that can't sit still than those without the gift,you end up in a control room knowing on which guages the pressure is rising and droppng and adjust,it also allows you to know the market intimately as in it has a personality and you can see when its acting out of sync,add is just how your are ,shaq has size 22-30 ft,thats just normal him,he deals with it,i think add gives one an edge in the markets/trading..it's explained in plain english here.. http://www.karenhurd.com/pages/healthtopics/specifichealthconcerns/ht-shc-adhdandadd.html .--------------. Well there are different types of ADD the inattentive type is less diagnosed cause there is no problem if a child is quiet. From there you can go a bit deeper to SCT. Im not sure if it is an ADD.

But the point is that ADD is different for each person. I know how to over come my issues, but some I just cant no matter what I do. Others I have found ways to force myself to.

It all depends what you can control and what you cant. To simplify it to neurotransmitters is not fare. Neuro transmitters are very specific and ADD is (arguably) very vague.

I know that the symptoms most with ADD complain about I have but I can over come those through pushing through. Some things you cant push through.

Let me give an example. Say I am talking to you and talking at 3 x speed.
You can barely make things out, you may learn to get used to it , but your mind will never (i think) be able to interject and the conversation will always be one sided. You cant speed up your understanding and thinking and response time. Just an example.

You read at the pace that you read, if you are in a library there will be less distraction so you may get more done, but you will always read at the same pace. You can however force your self to listen to your own reading so you don't have to reread a page. Tehnics to speed up your reading that work on others may work on you. but your increase will be proportional to there's a 50% increases on what was already a 90% slow down doesn't fix the issue.

As for the fish oil and diet, Do you really thing that ADD is caused by bad diet? Many Americans tend not to ever eat fish. I have seen some people here that will only eat steak and not even chicken, others are vegetarians. Then there's me that eats fish once a week at least with ADD.

To give you another example of how ADD is not that specific. some meds that work on one person will not work on others. Rittalin Aderall Concerta caffeine, sugar ect may do wonders for one person but may not work at all on others.

So I'm not so sure about fish oil being a cure for ADD.

AS for being cured or finding some thing that helped one..

One does not know how they are "supposed" to feel. Therefore one cant say that they found there symptoms have mostly gone away. It takes people decades to realize they have a problem with a 10% improvement it could take them more decades to realize they still have a problem.

Then again I have noticed a clear difference in the hyperactive and inattentive type. It is said that the inattentive type has a much tufer time. Maybe its just another beast

the excerpt noted with the few chemicals so far defined to make those synapse connections,you can do manual excercises to increase the production of all of them similar to doing a 5 lb curl to increase the use of your bicep,your left brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa,if you use your left hand to draw ,while your right eye is covered,the left and right brain have to fire signals back and forth so the right brain knows what the left hand is doing,same with the right hand and the left eye covered,one way to do this excercise is to have a partition upright on a table,with a piece of paper on either side, started out with doodling on one then the other ,back and forth,while forehead /nose rested on the partition ,blocking the sightline of right eye to left hand and vice versa,working with an early dementia patient with arthritis, found it was easier for him to touch dots,had trouble holding a pen, so now it's 20 circles about the size of a dime,and you connect 60 times with your left hand ,and then 60 with your right,takes a minute to do 60,alternate back and forth for about 10 minutes,you increase the seratonin and dopamine and the rest of the chemicals,makes one a little less negative and a shortage in all chemicals diminishes, theoretically, the few of many and an abundance in one is altered..results vary with a little or a lot of repetition......i have found that the fish oil reduces the depression
 
No issues with depression, Ill try what you mention out, There is also that new google guy that takes 100 or 200 vitamins and mineral pills a day. heck why not?

But Ill try it out only after I am done with this stuff. Its better not mix things up and not know where results came form.


Speaking of which, So I go in there, the guys hands shacking non stop. His voice is patient and totally not reflecting the phone cord jumping around. Interesting I think. Calmness is brought on by the shakes. What ever Nothing matters at this point in time. I look at my hand which should be also in tune with his but it is calm as always, as everything.

He hands me over a sheet, I read it on my way out, First name and last name are both spelt wrong. I turn around to go back in and find him dictating my report over the phone. As if it was being recorded for future reference. I recognize this too well. If you cant depend on your memory you learn to stop using it for small things. He is also dressed like me as is some one else. conservative, with a little twist and always the interesting glasses. He finishes up over the phone dictating, and I tell him the name is spelt wrong, both first and last.

He doesnt know the name, Understandable in these parts, we have a shortage of these guys .

He tries to fix the name quickly but there are 2 corrections to make and one cant just add a letter. It is common for us to attempt to add a letter and then look to see if it was done right when put on the spot. Correction time is often a give away so we try to compensate with speed and then a lame excuss.

On the way out I also realize that he was unable to recognize a very common accronym that is exactly what he should know, But he recognised what it stood for. I hate acronyms too I understand.

So :

Gave up fixing my name (timed out and said its ok they will know)
Miss dressed.
has to dictate his thoughts.

All toooo familiar ,
except the DR part and the shaking hand.
So... If the DR's hand is shaking and these issues are still there what does that mean ?

For me these issues are not my first target to fix. but still. I wonder.
Then again it dont matter.

Any body try this stuff ? what does it actually do. Isn't attention about getting one of 2 names spelt right?

analysing the diets though is not statistically fare.

Some could of had a good or average diet as a child Some better then others. As sone with ADD grows and feeds them selves the syptom of ADD makes them go for food that is easy to make.

I have to force myself to eat Or I dont. The solution all to often is to buy crap that need not be cooked. this makes eating more likely.

So yes at times through my life my diet is crap. But it is not a cause of ADD but rather a symptom.

As a child my ADD was very apparent. I was lucky to get a cookie. Everything was home made.

But again the article is interesting,

Yea, as much as I respect your previous posts, this post is just full of DUMBASS. While I agree it was promoted by drug companies, so was just about every cancer treatment, and I guess that means there really is no cancer? How stupid? Get a fuckin' clue. There are those that jump on it just like anything, but that doesn' mean it is false. I have other things to do than debate on here, but spend some time researching and get a clue. Prety simple. Then again like everything else there are turds who try to use it to their advantage. Just like turds who buy [politicians in every area of our country}. Oh wait, that never happens. If you are to stupid to buy into that we aren't bought and paid for then time to move to Cuba, Russia, S. Africa, etc.
