I went last year. A lot of retail investors and new traders. A lot of traders new to FX. I asked one of the FX vendors what he felt the average trader would have to open an account, he told me <$10k.
 
save your time. no need go to the trader expo, it 1 hour sales pitch for the newest stock scanners etc etc. I wasted a weekend years ago going to the traders expo in LV
 
I always go and look forward to picking the minds/try to get a better deal with the guys (and gal) from MF Global....oh, wait, nevermind.
