This weekend i recommended doing a sell tesla and buy nikola pair trade.
This is where i will update from time to time how this trade is actually doing.

this is not going to be a journal updated daily just a place to find the charts and the prices of trades I am actually doing.

I will place this trade today at current prices 15 mintues after the open and we can track it here. I am nto sure if this belongs in journals or trading.

this price is different than this weekends price due to the tesla split this morning

sell AMD buy INTC this one is my all time favorite in years.

filled at 156.94 on the buy NKLA sell TSLA trade. the cost is just margin. I sold tesla first and used the cash i collected to buy NKLA.
I did a last minute adjustment due to the price of tesla massviely boosting at the 15 minute mark after the mkt open so I am in at NEGATIVE 156.94 that
is basically my stock price for this pair.

-156.94 obviously i want this price to approach zero and go positive I can exit at any point or addmore of course but I am just sittign tight with it for awhile.

i am also in the process of buying gold for a swing trade i am currently long 1 gold future at 1974.7 and looking to add on dips

last trade was roughly 198 so down 41 dollars per UNIT. Tesla runnign hard which i am ok with but it needs to chill out very soon this looks like a blow off top that many will sell into let me say should sell into

the spread right now in nikiol vs tesla is just too godo to pass up I am adding to it as well as dynamically changing some stuff on this trade due to the increased volatility of tesla today due to the split. this is the nitty gritty of pairs trading. it is not a set and forget when thigns go badly early or when you are trying to maintain a position. so here we go i am selling another tesla share and buying more nkla shares right now. I will re post my average overall unit cost weh i am filled

my new dynamic and set price as i slowly enter this trade is negative 107.67 or - $ 107.67 total. I am not doing this with untis anymore.

I am leeping this as a total P and L for the entrie trade of all units involved so you can easily see what happens with this trade so the last trade was roughly 150 negative so i am down roughly 43 dollars overall on the tesla trade and i am not doing anything fractionally with tesla. here are the new charts for my new dynamic of this spread up to this point.
