with 400 leverage a 0 .25% move against your position will wipe out your entire deposit. that is the meaning of leverage
Leverage is great when the play goes in your favor.
It's a KILLER when it goes against you.
Personally....
(1) Suggest "going easy" on the leverage
(2) Over my long trading career I've rarely leveraged my trading capital 2:1, even for a short while... and I've had 4 years of >100% return on total capital, and more than a dozen other years of >40%.
You don't need to make "1,000%" to be successful.... consistency, time, and compounding will make any trader into a winner. The risk/stress of trying to achieve a huge return is greater than almost anyone can handle. (Yeah, sure... anyone can get lucky. But unfortunately "luck" has a way of not showing up when you need it most.)
FWIW...
