TraderEX -ES e-mini-One Tick Warriors Unite-Tradovate

...Or don't, this is dealers choice. This thread is over.

Then make it official by asking the mods to close the thread, since YOU are the OP. That is YOUR choice. You have power here over your own threads, the mods have made it such. If you wish, make it so. Just message them with your intentions :-)

I disagree with you but do respect the intelligent objection. Yes, 83% for BE. Not demo, real deal. TY
Real trades, OK.
I have seen a few people try to trade 1-4 ticks and they did not survive. That's why I am afraid that you will not survive too. You have not much room in case something goes wrong. $1.21 profit per trade is a very very very small profit.
Your average profit per winning trade should be at least equal to the average loss per losing trade. If not it will be hard.

I don't have a clue...Averaging down is too much like martingale just to get out at BE. Maybe use limit orders but if its fast moving no fill...

Handlebar123 .some insight. Savant you're close, read the last post.

My topic was about 1tic strategy. It never happened, did it. Because it works, as I stated, I recently started to look for the next steps. One week 1600 trades winning 1945. That's $1.21 profit. ALL single tic and $2.58 per rt. That's 4 in exchange fees. Again, using a 2-4 tsl, my risk at any one is 62.50. I use 3 at a time, witj 2k margin. My risk per trade is max 187.50 . Rarely is that case. Try, you,'ll see. I would say when I lose it is 3-4 , 60/40.
This what I wanted in the discussion. Because Tradovate took only $200 on their end. I profited, only them.
Also one tic strategies
If appropriate, life after one tic success. Still developing 2-3.
Check Handle123, That's what I hoped. Few other guys. Mostly negative buttheads. Read the thread through from the beginning and decide. Or don't, this is dealers choice. This thread is over.
Promise?

I interpret that he is trading 1 tick with a 3-tick SL...I think that the confusion is to help breakthrough to most traders that one tick based on volume is a good strategy with the right broker which is the 2-fold purpose of this thread. Look at it's title...

If Handle cut his posts in half, I still would have to print them out...

The key to Handle123’s trading is the runner or is it the rummer?

Original spreadsheets were used to see if any patterns exist. These are the early days, 2014. Over 9k hours in 4 years to get here. They track volume size, volume time and volume. A sheet everyday and analysis everynight. No choice, my wife got my crystal ball in the divorce.
Seriously-

Promise.

Do you mean this?

Most of the time ES allows you to get out of ultimately bad position at "BE", but you have to study much to know if you in a bad position, most trade too long and last trades of a trend do them in, so unless the extremes were made from sharp rocketship move, failures to re-establish new highs/lows can often allow to get out where one got in at breakeven.
