BINGO! Since you guys agree that the ES is the most efficient instrument around, then it also must mean it is the most predictable to trade when one allows patience for a proper setup to develop.

I agree with Mav flapping his jaws about "tick stroking" the ES. Some strategies work great in ES while others will drive you up a wall unless you discipline yourself to AVOID, DOUBLE AVOID ANYTHING except your well defined and explicit setups ONLY.

ES, being as expressed by many as "most efficient" requires a different approach to capture the "most efficient" moves, I mean C-mon man, the price still moves up and down.

I would love to trade the ES when it is stroking itself on the screen but I get chewed up, thus I avoid anything but setups that will either be running or are about to move from LEVEL TO LEVEL.

Breakout trading works, keep the rest...........

PS: done with this thread, I will not go 'tit for tat" with mav, I prefer to let him keep believing I am just a simple fat truck driver from another generation... :)
 
it went from nil volume to sudden size smacking the bid were it would find huge bid support ( maybe family accounts ) and then it would be off to the races. With MM's holding your orders and fuckin your prints; squeezing in was almost impossible ...peace
