Trader Suicide

Do you love trading enough that......

Have you devoted so much time, money, energy and life-force into perfecting your trading strategy that you would every commit suicide if you came to the point where there is no more "going forward?"

For me, personally, I would not blink if my life situation ever came to that point.

Trading is all I live for - which is kinda sad - but with the exception of my elderly mother, there is nothing else/no one else I care about.

The part that makes it less sad is the fact that I truly love doing what I do and I spent more than 15 years (almost full-time) pursuing excellence in myself and my craft....went from super arrogant to somewhat humble.......first generation American born oldest son and I have no shame in the way I lived my life with the exception of not giving my parents grand-kids.

Many people commit suicide for financial reasons.

If you lose late in life, and have given up all hope, it is one option.
Another option is to get a job and keep trading but smaller size, hoping to compound profits, and never give up the dream.

I think it is worse to have had a lot of money and lose it all, than never to have had it in the first place.
That can cause depression which can lead to suicide.

But then again, many people lose fortunes and dont commit suicide.

Diversification in what you do helps, trading should be a portfolio of skills, the proverbial egg in one basket is why people kill themselves over money or relationships, God gave you options take them before you end up killing yourself, love yourself over others...

I'm pretty close to it. Only reason i don't is I dont wanna let me parents down. Life pretty much sucks tho
