Can anyone assist me here, I am am an experienced trader that signed up with WTS on Sterling. It seems there are many stocks that are not able to be shorted.

Does anyone know if you can use Locatestock with WTS?

Does anyone know how to get a restricted short list from them?

Can any trader with them give you your feedback

I sure hope I am not stuck here not being able to short 70% of the stocks I trade
 
I can't answer for WTS and Sterling, but we are associated with two clearing firms, Penson and Jefferies. It is very easy for us to get short locates from both clearing firms (we can usually do everything via IM very quickly). But both firms have extensive short lists to begin with.

PM Gil Mike or David - Gil is your best bet, he's the one sending you the "last 10 minutes in the market" stupid msgs everyday :P
or if you're with a branch get your lazy manager to find you shares, it only takes 10 seconds
