Trader PnL 2015

Was wrong in the morning as to the direction of the underlying asset.. and had a fairly significant loss (at least to me it is). Should have been more patient to determine the overall trend of the day, and then enter as I discovered I was hesitant throughout the day until I was absolutely sure the trend had changed. This lead to me missing a number of major moves, and I had to scalp my way to reduce the losses!

Done for the day.. do not trust my instincts going forward..
Not sure if it's because I'm undercapitalized or not.. but I need to trust in my initial game plan.. as I get too spooked too easily at times with price jumps in the opposite direction and end up cutting losses to prevent major moves against me.

I see you use Interactive Brokers. Could you post your PnL as a percentage so we can see how you are performing ytd or however long you have been trading your strategy? I would be interested in seeing it. Something like what I am doing in my journal would be cool(I use IB as well)

As I continue to trade, make mistakes, and learn.. I continue to refine my trading strategy.
Today I was a lot more patient for my set ups and I had firm stop-losses in place, which was the exact opposite of everything I did yesterday.
