Trader P/L 2014

-1pt TF short
+6pts TF short

+1 tick ES short

someone(s) has their big boot on the neck of S&P 500 index right now... cannot go higher, but will not go lower without instant buy programs kicking in to hammer it right back up. If the ES could get out of its own way this morning, the 4-lot worked had decent earnings potential for us.

soon as the free enterprise markets are freely allowed to trade unfettered, we can get back to printing money again. Meanwhile, every time I take a short trade, I expect an abrupt v-turn against to be waiting nearby :(

After the first 4 contracts TF and ES short, net result was +$2,011 booked.

The rest of those contracts were multiple attempts to enter AND hold stops in the obligatory spike-chop upwards following any attempts to sell off. I guess that's enough brain damage for me today in trying to find orderliness and structure amongst two-way chop today.

Sooner or later we're going to enjoy some deliberate, methodical price movement but once again today, that's not the case. With 6" of fresh snow on the ground these past two hours and 12"+ more predicted on the way, might as well fire up the snow blower and make better use of my time outdoors.

It was high 60sF and sunny yesterday. Predicted high of 20sF today and 8F highs tomorrow, then 40sF temps from Friday onward. March weather and stock index markets... choppy

short multiple times near session highs... stopped every time for no gain.

rollover Thursdays are always tough trading, volume is split between contracts, price action tends to be erratic. Tomorrow is a new day

This is one of those losing streaks where you start thinking - hey, what if I did the exact opposite of everything I would normally do. I'm not going to do that, but I find it almost amazing the number of losing trades I'm having.

don't despair. money will follow experience and due time invested in trading.

nice job guys..

and chuck..you will get back on track..just consider the market dynamics are changing and you may have to adjust some structures of your trading.

Net: +58

Overnight position. Should have sold earlier during the morning upswing and bought back in on any dips.. however I was certain that the stock would trend upwards. Finally came to my senses and took profits before all the blood shed.

Holding another position overnight as I am anticipating for the morning gap up. Glad I had enough restraint to not average down today, which allows me that option tomorrow in case the market continues to move against me.
