Haven't posted on this thread in a long time part of the reason is that I was nowhere near my 20k monthly goal, I've been performing poorly in the past months, having some big negative months and only small positive months, and a another reason is that I've lost interest because I didn't saw the big hitters posting in here anymore which is pity.
For me was very inspirational seeing all the big $$$$.
I hope this time I'll find the motivation to keep going with this thread.

I started off great and then slowly bled money back little by little.

-90 was down 630 in the morning, just could not get on the right side of crude for the life of me.
+112.50 made a good trade in the ES today had a buy order in cl cancelled it only to watch it take off less than 1 minute later lost opportunity cost me over $1k today.

I'm just going to call it a day and a week. I took some small wins and losses this morning. It's Friday and the market looks like it's going to be stupid, so I'm shutting it down.

as i have said here many times; i like posting weeks...months and quarters as there can be far less to completely eliminating the possibility of daily cherry pick posts.
anyway, this year has been tough ....i find it hard to adapt to lower vol....but i did trade from the early 90's in low vol and high...in all that time i did better in higher vol since i swing trade marti style. less swings in the market, less i tend to capture.
i do expect market instability to rise in to sept 17-18 fed meetings so that should give some much needed opportunities to traders.
this past week i was on vacation and traded only in the first hour at best daily.
edit: i am posting a bit more since i have more free time..included are commish, small divy, asset classes mtm.
