This could have been an insane day. I misjudged some trades that I should have been all over and gave a lot back of a pre-market trade on open.

STZ, BUD I didnt know much about this merger deal, but should have followed my instinct to short it to sub 30 off the first circuit breaker. i only scalped around it and BUD for a couple bucks.

Close there were some small chops to take, but I was a bit weary from some of shenigans earlier.

Closed the month right around 40k, maybe a little more. Certainly not bad, but not that good either. I didnt see a whole of opportunity other than the beginning and end of January. Earnings have been trading super thin and too hard to move in and out of w/ any size. Hopefully it picks up.

I'll post daily clearing when I get it, if anyone is interested in seeing how the month progressed.

Flat over weekend except some small options positions.

I bot an AAPL 460/470 call spread today, like I'm sure everyone else did after Demark announced it on CNBC. I have some VMW 80 calls outright and some RBN puts in case the deal falls apart.

Up 4.08% in January. Less than the market but it's tough to keep up when it's pushing higher every day. Gold miners (NUGT) caused me a lot of headache - they don't seem to bounce much anymore.
