Trader P/L 2010

Quote from jinxu:

Broke one of finger on my left hand yesterday at work. So, sorry for any typos.

Overall, I'm getting better at predicting moves, but my timing and tight stops are killing me.

jinxu,

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Easy on the pain killers! lol You may be pleasantly surprised at how far the market will "come to you" to fill an order.

<*)))><

Need to end the day early. Too tired, was trading on 4 hrs of sleep and it's not a good thing to do. Made some early mistakes from taking trades as soon as I woke up. I'm on leave from work right now, so maybe I'll be able to get more sleep and my performance might improve.

Made $115 from $760 on 9 trades. One big trade made $200 in a few minutes. In that trade I shorted at 2 ticks from the high and exited about 5 ticks from the low. Getting much better at timing. Need to work on patience and sleeping. ha ha.

Anyways, have a good weekend everyone.

No trades.

I just couldn't find a decent bounce to enter a trade into. With the power of hindsight now; I could have taken any bounce to enter a trade on the short side. It was such a slow-grind day. At least for me. I hope you guys didn't have the same problem as me.

Not much money made, but very thankful for being lucky. I can see the strength in the markets today, but I refused to accept it and kept wishing for a selloff. The result is that I didn't make money out of a strong market move.

I'm lucky I stepped aside and didn't fight it. Not that I wasn't tempted, but every time I was about to enter a trade on the short side, price action on the indices prevented me doing so.
