I have been in the same situation a lot of times.
When i have a big losing day, mostly because i took those reckless trades and totally out of control. And the reason i went mad mainly because I chicked when i need to take action, or i was with the trend but didn't set a reasonable stop for the trade thus, i was stopped out before i can make money. It is like a curse...
I do have my set ups. Those work pretty well on simu, but when it is in real money, that is a totally different story.
For me, simu is good for learning the market but not for learning myself.
I don't know exactly how to get myself out of this cycle, but i think the first thing i have to to force myself to accept that loss and missing are part of the game, what important is the next action. It is easy to say though..
um..."patient" is the key...

i am using high commission broker (well...not so high but for sure not for daytrading), like $5CAD buy and $5CAD sell...

Surprised I got 4 trades in today based on the fact that I was at the computer for such short intervals. Gotta end early today even though i see the market tanking in front of me. Although w/ this chop, I'm somewhat glad I've got other things to take care of today
