This morning I asked myself where would all the folks who keep saying to short AAPL place their disaster stops. I figured above $230, so I expected AAPL to hit $230 today, but the price action was so wide and whippy, that I was unable to trust myself on this and so I didnât trade it at all. It was, however, one more recent example of proof for my "where price will go" hypothesis ("where the shorts place their disaster stops").
POT opened oversold on the multi-day 5-min, so I watched for a confirmed long entry. Choppy price action kept me out until the higher low around 10:35am. Took a quick profit on the first little pause. Then re-entered long when price moved back up to the HOD, and sold at overbought.
Shorted the pullback from a lower high, covered WAY too soon because I forgot to switch to the 3-min chart for my exit. Later, shorted pullback from the HOD and covered on the pivot off OS on the 3-min.
