Trader P/L 2009

Today felt like the market was sick.

Haven't posted for a while, I have been cheating on my main stocks trying to trade volatility and losing big.

Veteran trader comes up to me after market close last Friday and tells me this.

"stop cheating on your wife trying to bang whores. You will catch an std and when you go back to your wife, it will be too late. If I catch you cheating on your wife, I will kill you myself!"

LOL but seriously he has made a great point, hope that helps others.

Pick a few stocks, and make love to them day in and day out. Get to know them better then you know yourself.

I only sim traded again today, CL and SPY options. I'm really coming to understand the value of the above comment. CL, ES and SPY options are seriously seducing me...

Last week this would have been a "getting stopped out" kind of day.

Took two losing trades right off the bat - then stopped and reflected on why it is that I have a stop and let the trades go against me longer than supposed to...Fixed the bug in the system real quick, and made most back - to end up essentially flat.Had another two good trades - one with a bad entry that did not follow through - broke the low of the day by a few c and bounced - and another one that was good with perfect entry and that I booked early - all in all not a disaster because the day was crap.
