was up almost 30.00 scale up shorting YM in the AM but instead of taking profits, watched them evaporate

Mainly sim traded ES, pulled off a TIF trade, and our power went out as I was about to put on my last trade of the day.

I messed up today. I got in on LCC early with leverage and had the account up to 74 grand at one point. Then I did a few bad trades on energy and the market flexed down. Final account balance was 71000. Yesterday's I believe was around 68.

Today is a copy of yesterday - up 59 in the morning then 2 bad trades and down to 36 (net 32).

I learned my lesson to stop once I lose the edge...had 9 wins and 1 loss and then decided that I was good enough to try and tell AXP that it should go up....SNAP!

Could have kept trying but let it go and walked away with 60% of my profits...
