Trader P/L 2008

For those who would desire to go over one by one. Here is a file.
Most of the time my contract # 2 gets taken at breakeven. However, sometimes when the market takes off it is truly a free money tree. Also, after a nice run up, if one can there is always a pull back, and harvesting it in times like this should be profitable. The first strategy was employed in the morning, early afternoon. The second, .... just look at the file. end result: 4.5K :D :D :D

So I suppose since my mentor Szeven is the thread starter this year..I used to be his office manager before i opened my own....

first let me say I hope all of you had a nice thanksgiving holiday

if living in the USA

secondly I have not posted here in a while

I suffered a big drawdown a ( and did not want to mention the pain I went though here until I somehow crawled back out of it )

end result ... instead of being up 250K for 2008 then

I am up 205K for the yr as of today

I could have quit but instead have adjusted my strategies and reduced my risk and am trying to still remain humble

while the markets continue to go to ZERO

( * note this week I made about 7500 )

I stopped posting on Wed. because I was up 1200 and ended the day down -1300. I had a mental cramp and went a little insane. I lost my patience and gambled. I lost :(

My weekly results are as followed.

Monday -636
Tuesday -750
Wed. -1350
Thursday +1230
Friday +1400

For the past week:

th: +930 + 880
f: +950 + 1684

The total for the week was +8069. I'll post weekly and then post the monthly blotter for both accounts.

Is there anything worse than a late year drawdown? I was up 360K at the end of november only to piss away 250K in a few days...had to circle the wagons as i reverted back into 'survival' mode. Like you, this humbling experienced has taken me down a few notches.

It is Monday. Important to start week on good note. High for the day was +1900. Very good trading getting to the high.

Felt invincible. Market corrected my attitude! Taking my profits for the day. Cannot take another positive to negative swing!
