IB having data problems, AGAIN. -783 today, red 90% of the day.

Wanted to short UAUA and couldn't, so spent time with my better half shorting on his IB platform. First short was a tenth the profits it should've been because of 200 instead of 2000 shares shorted (my bad for not specifying the exact quantity :eek

a smarter man would stop trading for a while, or at least reduce size by force (w/d $ from the acct)- i'm not that smart. i'm either going to work thru this (was 100% confident of this a while ago, not so much any more), or this acct will go down in flames (sadly, increasingly more likely).

was up 10m, then down 25m.

absolutely nailed both a huge move in the EUR.JPY and the end of day selloff- perfect r/r entries. closed both positions for ZEROFUCKINGREASON- taking less than 20% of the eventual move in both.

ended down ~4m (blotter, as usual, is wrong)- well over 10m from last night's high.

fuck me.

I slept in because of a damned smoke detector. "BEEP!" "BEEP!" every twenty seconds all night long. I finally got up at 5:50a, got the ladder and changed the damn battery. Grrrr.

Maybe I should start my posts with "Dear Diary". LOL

Anyway, I didn't start trading until 2:30p but ended up +65.00 Bleh. Whatever.

2 out of 3 data providers were freezing up all morning, and the third was lagging, wasn't on my end.

Made it impossible to trade with confidence so I shut 'er down and went fishing.
