congrats. the goal that you've achieved is my goal as well. as i've posted, the scale up from $25-40m/month to the 7 figure level is something that i've been failing miserably at all year long (to the point of wiping out most of my profitability for the year).
anyway, i started posting to this P&L thread partly to impose another level of accountability onto myself. posts like yours and others are very inspirational for me, because i want to believe that if you guys can do it, i can do it too. so, thanks- i hope to match your post some time in 2009.

roger that. For too long now I coasted thru trading the ER2 and its limited size... easier than ES, but rather low ceiling of saturation. Seeing the guys post six-figure months and days here in this thread was partial motivation to step it up a few notches myself.
Only working 10s and 20s ES now, but will build up to 100 ~ 200 contracts of my own along with others as well. 2009 will be a seven-figure year, perhaps even seven-figure months along the way. Looks like at least one - two of the guys in here had seven-figure months in September. I'm sure you all have many more to come in your future.
Sincere congrats on the major milestone. Now go and triple that next year!

Same story as usual this week: four - five trade signals confirmed and blew away before entries were able to fill. Trailed stops got pounded out of longs and shorts on deep counter-moves before price action finally moved as expected.
But if we take enough trade signals as the charts are spewing out, eventually something sticks. Went from 0 to +2pts to 0 to -2pts to 0pts to +4pts to +2pts to 0pts to +8.75pts
That's enough of a see-saw ride for today. Done. Almost forgot what it's like to trade deliberate swing or trend moves. Remember those? Back before bots wrested control of these tapes.
