good day again and happy with today's profits but not a good week though .... was able to lessen the wild swings just had 1 when i was already +400 went back to +100 then back to newer highs :)

total: -611 :(

Normally I post when I win and quit when I lose, so gonna start posting again with a bad day.

No blotter, lost $42. Only trading 100 shares right now, learning stocks in a prop firm.

Got chopped by all the bank news whipsaws today.
 
One glance at the ER2 charts pretty much says it all. They pounded to pieces both ways, all day. I thought yesterday was tough... have never in my ER career worked thru a session like today where so many 3pt ~ 5pt V-turns slammed every which way without abatement. Sideways volatility is to the point of ridiculous now.

Missed entry into the afternoon Bernanke spike by a hair, quit trading down -$1,000 and dealt with internet outage issues. Rebooted platform to snag this image and darn good thing I did... stranded sell stop order from earlier hit and dug the hole deeper by -$970 more. Would have been much worse at the close if left unchecked. Reminder again to make sure ALL orders are closed and flat before exiting... stranded ones don't always show.

Of course, it would never be an errant buy stop that went unnoticed for +10pts gain instead.

as I have overnights that might jump both ways sunday night monday am

looking like I made 3-6 % last week and am keeping my fingers crossed

that I get to unwind at favorable terms to my P+L
