Made it all on BDN with moderate losses in LRY and LEN

Far exceeded my personal position limits on BDN but I give up and guess I just need to give my instincts more room to work. The poker player in me says that if the odds are greatly in your favor, get as many chips on the table as possible. Will try to work in reasonable stops, though. We'll see how it goes!

ER total for June 2008.

A slow month with a few non trading days to entertain relatives. Those days are tough for me to get back my mojo again because my system needs me to be on top of the market sentiment/price action.

An average, boring month. Just how I want it to be :-) as long as I have a smooth up trend to the account balance.

Friday I lost -5513 and deserved every penny of it for I made the dumbest trade in years.

May trade a bit tommorow other than that I am gone on vacation until around the 15th.

No blotter on Friday because I left early but it was another top 5 day for me making +$2,557 net.

Today was also not far off again – I netted $2,046

I’m really happy with the way the end of this month has gone. 2/3 of the way through June, I was getting a bit worried to be honest. The strat made just $4,300 for the first 12 trading days. I even started to worry that my edge was fading. The turnaround was quite dramatic – since 19th June the strat netted $13,485 for a total of just under $18k on the month. Just goes to show how fortunes ebb-and-flow in trading.

Good luck to all for July and the 2nd half of 2008.
