pretty happy with today. trying to trade my way up to be elligable for a margin account... how sad.. hahah
Good results, only one loser for RT commissions cause I got in too big a hurry to send the order.
I could have done much better if I had been buying dips instead of fading rallies,
an old habit of mine.
I should have taken a couple more small losses but held on for a few more ticks.
I got lucky today but a couple of these trades could have easily blown up in my face. I need to stop being a perfectionist.

Hi All,
It's my first post here.
Have been trading retail account part time for over a year now. Unfortunately, still have problems with my discipline (overtrading and not letting my winners run).
Trading NQ Futures mainly. Swing trading equities and equity options occasionally.
Sorry, no blotter today.

Have entered NQ at 1824 at first. Then closed for some reason (still haven't figured out why) and tried to short this rally for the rest of the day.

Have entered NQ at 1824 at first. Then closed for some reason (still haven't figured out why) and tried to short this rally for the rest of the day.
Switched to paper trading by 10 am again - caught a nice ride on MER, and a small short on AGU for $715.
+$1500.00 paper trading by 11:30 then had to leave for a few hours.
The dollars are my soldiers and I'm building an army. Right now I'm a sniper. Just got back into trading -

i started recording my P&L in excel since scottrade sucks.
since i started recording with it on Feb 28 with $1,227.02 have have grown it to $1465.39 by today April 1 despite $63.10 dollars in commissions from only 4.5 trades.

Was on target for 30-40k month but got kill one day close to the end of the month.
This was the situation for that big lost day:
I got 2 systems that are profitable so I was thinking maybe I could combine both to make a better system. Very smart thinking? Then since it's a better system, lets triple up the contracts to blow out the target for March. So the result was a 21k lost day.
Lets see if I can make the target in April. Good luck guys

Can't get into synch anymore. Guess I'll scale down until I figure out what my problem is.
One thing I did different is: I tried to stop taking profits to soon today. That blew up in my face. I sat and watched a couple trades that were up over a hundred bucks turn into break even trades. *sigh*
I stopped trading a 11a today because I was sort of enraged.
I was going to come back and trade some more after I cooled down, but ended up spending the rest of the session in the pool. LOL. Only April 1st and the pool hit 82 degrees today. 
*EDIT* Oh yeah, eSignal's data feed lagging 3 seconds doesn't help my trading much either.
