was, frankly, just too disheartened to screen capture/post a blotter yesterday because, after the previous 102m bitch slap (as someone here appropriately called it), i submitted myself to another bitch slapping. anyway, -20m between the past 2 nights and yesterday (would have been more if not for the diminished size of my account coupled with a 22m hail mary gain in EUR.JPY).

today:

after no sleep for 36 hours, i slept thru my alarm and missed all but the last 2 hours today. stayed away from futures/stocks and traded forex again (past 2 days are really the first time i've seriously traded forex, ever). EUR.JPY and EUR.USD were my friend. still 6m below where i was 2 days ago- and that was after losing 102m. so, yeah, still pretty disheartened...

only i could go long hong kong overnight, have the dow rally 400 points and not make money on the trade- asia ignored the big day in the US- can't imagine it would have gone that way had i been short!!

traded pretty well all night- almost pissed 1/2 of it away @ the end but got it back- whew...

had a less than amusing start that i'll share. was converting some gains back to USD and forgot to change the amount. just as i did it the USD.JPY went ballistic- was down 5m in a heartbeat. doubled down at resist, which it broke: -8m! thankfully, it came back- actually made $400.

a good night, but it isn't dick next to my losing days...

I abstained from futures trading today to atone for my amatuer mistakes yesterday.
I usually stop trading as soon as I realize I've violated my rules.
If I repeatedly violate my rules in one account, I won't trade that account the next day.
I stopped trading stocks at 11:30.

Stocks: +320
Futures: No trades.
