Augh. I was up $10k after morning selloff before my brain exited the building. Don't ask - but suffice it to say I did not follow my new strategy and need to resolve that before trading any size again. Just when you think you don't need anymore "humbling," the market says "Yes, you do!" :eek:

Keep in mind my trading account was only $27k before today.. Crazy lev, I went in too heavy.. I'll try my best to make this a learned lesson..
 
REALLY NEED TO LEAR WHEN TO STOP TRADING WHEN THE MARKET WENT TO BAD AND CRAZY.....

WHAT A TERRIABLE WEEK THAT REALLY PISSED ME OFF.

THE STOCK I NORMALLY DO JUST DID 5-6 CENTS MOVE AND SOMETIMES AGAINS THE INDEX... I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS JUST HAPPENED BECAUSE SOMETIME I JUST CAN NOT GET OUT OF A DECENT POSITION AND TURNED INTO A REALLY BAD LOSS.
I AM SO SHAMED TO POST TODAY'S P/L.

ANYWAYS. GET TO GET ALONG WITH IT.
 
called it a day locked in my profits gonna try to hit $400 - $500 mark for a few days then aim higher once again... volatility seems to be back... good weekend to all :)

Took a beating on Tues & Wed so traded light the rest of the week. Hope today can bring some volume into stocks next week.

Edit - I couldn't stay away but made myself trade 2 lots this afternoon and got back a whopping +$553 on 18 ES contracts.

Discipline is they key and would have saved me if I had had any today. If I had followed my strat today and taken every entry and exit, I would be up $9600 on day but instead I lick my wounds. Ok, done venting. Great weekend all!
