-17,779 on 543k shs. i hear ya Szeven! I think I owned everything LONG this morning, and simply did not hedge ENOUGH relative to my exposure. I bitched all day, as well. i do not want to be stuck again doing the same, so I am going to do some work this afternoon to help correct as many mistakes as possible I made today. Let me tell ya, I kept waiting for those purma BULLS on ET to buy up the sell offs and move this market higher, but I think they all actually dont trade! Just teasing ... LOL. Back at it, tomorrow!

Too much confidence, averaging down --» suicide in this market which let's say it, wasn't very rational today (particularly the dax in the after hours). Did they discover suddenly today that oil was expensive ?
I was so loaded with dax contracts at the end that even a small move up would have put me in the green. Right now I am thinking of loading the same way tomorrow and gamble. But it's probably the anger, I may become more reasonable by then !

Hello all, Iâm going to start posting my results in this thread as a form of motivation and accountability. Right now I am trading the mini-sized Nikkei contract on the Osaka exchange during the evenings (I live in the US) after work. I donât get to trade every night, but Iâm committing to posting my results every night that I do. I only trade the Japan morning session. Hereâs how I did tonight:
net +1600 yen ($13.64 USD)

Considering how much opportunity there was in the market today, I'm very dissapointed with this result. I missed so many entrys it's maddening. A small gain is better than a loss, but I need to be more disciplined in taking every setup I see.

Grind up is still my worst I would say. Down is good, back and forth is good. Im normally fairly good at just waiting my turn and taking the trades i know are a high %age regardless of mkt conditions. Today it was like being pot committed too early to let go, and you cant bully a billion dollar market. I lost 10k in one trade, the rest of the day was fine.
