Hopefully it'll be + tomorrow.. kinda expected a down day on the futures .. kamikaze shorting the whole day lol... the only profitable trade was the morning short, which i lost throughout rest of the day ^^ ... but isn't trading fun ^^... pu hahaha I love this game

+ $5,279, got back what I lost yesterday.
I would like to thank MBA for posting his loss. As a fellow futures trader I have felt small after seeing his machine like profit turning performance with no losses. In the past I had a good streak like MBA for a month and then I had a wash out day.
Today, I don't know what I did to let a 2k day turn into a 3k loss today, but my performance these last 2 weeks have been sub par and testing my wits as a trader.
Thanks to all those that post, and especially to the consistent posters that share there big losses and come back the next day to try to make it back.

john99 you're welcome but no thanks needed. It was a hard post to make but I committed on Jan. 1 to posting P/L everyday this year and am not stopping now. The good, the bad, the ugly - you see it all.

Your progress has been an inspiration to many people. Please do NOT let a PM from someone like john12 affect your thinking. He's never posted a blotter here yet he feels justified in regularly criticizing those who do. He's been warned numerous times and knows that if he posts in the thread again his post will be removed and he will be banned from ET. That's why he's switched to PM'ing people with his vitriol. Ignore him and continue your fine efforts.
This is a big reason why I gave up daytrading the futures a few years back. I would book soild gains for a while and then just suffer a whooping loss one day that wiped out my previous gains.
Its just something about trading a single contract thats always moving that messed me up. I find focusing on different stocks each day to be much easier.
But more power to you if you can overcome the drawdowns. Very few full time profitable ES/NQ traders out there.
