Why does everyone hides their invested amount ?

If you make $100 for the day and you invested $1,000 then it is a very good day. If you make $100 on $100,000 invested then is not such a great day.

I think a ROI percentage would help the novice trader (me).

Some us do suck at it (for now at least) Today was not a good day. I tried to recover my previous losses. I was HH (hope and hold) .

I was -2% today .... a common recurrence

Turned +665 into -1565.

Couldnt get rid of these really whacked quotes from Boston Exchange. All my prior cancels reappear each time I type in the respective symbol in my L2.Desk says disregard..confused the hell out of me.

tomorrow my autoex basket program goes live, hope to turn things around.

Good day again. Finished almost at my high. As for my invested amount I trade prop so I have invested $0. I have pretty big BP but its mainly just for order entry. Rarely carry a position anywhere close to my max BP.

Just took a trip down memory lane through the Trader P/L 2005 thread over the last bit as i was bored. Really interesting to see whos still around, whos not, who improved, who didnt. So... what i would like to do is call out a few of the names from times gone by, maybe they still troll and can give us an update?

Patrick...all I can say is I feel your pain! You're taking it well, and you'll be back to new equity highs in no time.
